Greetings!
My name is Donna Shappy, and I’m a committed follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. That wasn’t always true of me, But God, in His amazing mercy and grace, touched my life in 1987, and I accepted the generous and gracious offer of His salvation through His one and only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ!
Throughout these studies I will share how God has been active in my life. How He has carried me through financial struggles, marital challenges, health issues, other relational challenges, and every other aspect of life. I’m encouraged because God has stood with me in every situation. I’ve learned that He loves us, unconditionally, no earning His love, and that He holds my future, firmly, in His hands. His plans for me are always good!

Topics will include basic teachings of the Scriptures, ie, why we can trust what the Bible says, the Trinity, salvation from sin, its presence and penalty, etc. Also included will be aspects of God’s character, His immutability, omniscience, faithfulness, etc.
A bit about me…
*Born and raised in the Albany, New York area in a religious home
*Have 3 sisters
*Married almost 45 years
*Accepted Jesus when I was 33 years old
*Taught for BSF International for 11 years
After our Albany BSF class closed in 2004, God started me on my journey writing Bible studies, going verse by verse from Genesis to Revelation. Since that time, I’ve met with an amazing group of women who have dug into each verse with me. We will complete the 66 books in a few years!
But God… is all about our mighty God, and His involvement in our lives. I invite you to travel this journey with me!
